Descrizione sintetica in italiano	La ricerca intende riflettere sul rapporto fra il design e le pratiche progettuali che si occupano della sua tutela, valorizzazione e fruizione. In particolare, verterà sui modi di presentare, esporre e interpretare tali artefatti e sulle modalità della loro fruizione da parte di pubblici diversi. Nella prima fase, lo studio si concentrerà sull’indagine storica dei “modelli” espositivi che si sono occupati di interpretare le mutazioni nel tempo dei caratteri del design, inteso come traduzione di contesti sociali, economici, esecutivi e culturali che hanno prodotto i suoi artefatti. Nella seconda fase sarà approfondito il ruolo del progetto nella costruzione di strumenti, fisici o digitali, di tutela e fruizione, soffermandosi sulle relazioni fra figure professionali. Nella terza fase, l’indagine interesserà invece le “reazioni” delle categorie di fruitori al contatto con tali materiali, con particolare attenzione per le esperienze di didattica museale
Descrizione sintetica in inglese	The research study intends to reflect on the relationship between design and the design practices that work towards its preservation, enhancement and utilization. It will focus in particular on how to present, exhibit and interpret these artefacts and on how they are used by different audiences. The first phase of the study will concentrate on a historical survey of exhibition "models" that sought to interpret the mutations over time of the characteristics of design, understood as a translation of the social, economic, manufacturing and cultural contexts that lead to the production of its artefacts. The second phase will explore the role of design in the construction of physical or digital tools for preservation and utilization, focusing on the relationships between different professional figures. The third phase will investigate the "reactions" of the various categories of users to their contact with these materials, with special attention to educational experiences in museums
