Descrizione sintetica in italiano	Il ricercatore sarà impegnato nel progetto PNRR intitolato “RESearch and innovation on future Telecommunications systems and networks, to make Italy more smart (RESTART)” e, in particolare, nella attività dello Spoke 4 - PTO (Programmable Networks for Future Services and Media). L’attività di ricerca da svolgere sarà quindi sullo studio di problematiche caratteristiche del SSD ING-INF/04 Automatica, con particolare riferimento a quelle previste dal progetto strutturale “S7 - Processing and distribution of media”, ovvero: - Progettazione ed analisi di una strategia di allocazione ottimale, distribuita e QoE-fair per la distribuzione massiva di flussi video immersivi e relativi algoritmi di controllo. - Progettazione, sviluppo e/o integrazione di strumenti software e hardware per l'analisi delle prestazioni delle soluzioni sviluppate. Le attività saranno svolte in collaborazione con i ricercatori del Politecnico, gruppi di ricerca e aziende coinvolte nel progetto RESTART
Descrizione sintetica in inglese	The researcher will be involved in the PNRR project entitled RESearch and innovation on future Telecommunications systems and networks, to make Italy more smart RESTART and, in particular, in the research activities of Spoke 4 PTO. The research activity to be carried out will focused on the research topics of the Automatic Scientific Sector ( SSD ING-INF/04), with particular reference to those belonging to the structural project “S7 Processing and distribution of media”, namely: Design and investigation of a distributed QoE-fair optimal allocation strategy for massive delivery of immersive video streams and related control algorithms; Design, development and/or integration of software and hardware tools for the performance analysis of the conceived solutions. The activities will be carried out in collaboration with the researchers of the Polytechnic and with other university research groups and companies from transport industry involved in the RESTART project.
